The high cost of internal cochlear implants—exceeding hundreds of thousands of pounds—places this life-altering procedure far out of reach for struggling Egyptian families.
Project 'Story of Sound' (Hekayet Sout) covers the entire continuum of care: comprehensive audiometric evaluations, surgical implantation by Egypt's top neurotologists, post-operative processor programming, external unit maintenance, and intensive speech therapy sessions until the child speaks fluently.
